Brokeback Barrage at Green Hills

Be assured, Nashville has come out for this film.
So far, it is sold out each performance. It was a given that our supportive gay community would want to see this movie, and not just because it's a love story...part of which involves two men...but because of the art, writing, and performances, that are all over the top fantastic.
My girlfriend (in the 1950's definition) and I, who are both heterosexual from birth and inclined to stay that way, went to see Brokeback Mountain at the Green Hills Mall. I was glad I hit Fandango before we went! The audience was eclectic with many people coming in alone to fill the remaining seats that dotted the theater.

If you are the least bit homophobic, you may have more trouble with The Producers than this awesome Ang Lee film. Kudos to Jake Gyllenhaal, and Michelle Williams, and a believable performance by Randy Quaid. And then there's the sheep.

I haven't seen Capote yet, so as of now, I think Heath Ledger has a lock on the Oscar. Of course, I haven't seen Munich yet either, so the jury is still out for me.
